TONY KART READY FOR THE KZ AND KZ2 EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP

The FIA Karting European Championship dedicated to gear classes kicks off this weekend at the Adria Karting Raceway.

The FIA Karting season also begins for the gear classes. Our KZ/KZ2 drivers and all of us in the KZand KZ2Racing Team staff are in fact already heading towards the Adria Karting Raceway where the first of the two rounds of the FIA Karting European Championshipwill be starting this weekend. An event for which the Tony Kart Racing Team has worked hard, taking advantage of the season starting again to maximise the understanding between our drivers and the Tony Kart Racer 401 R - Vortex duo and get ready for the European tournament.

As far as the line-up in the KZclass is concerned, we will be fielding two drivers and not three as expected. In fact, Pedro Hiltbrand, who was already injured in the last OK race in Zuera, will not be able to race due to what turned out to be - after medical tests - a fractured rib. Simo Puhakka, instead, had already given us two splendid victories on this track this season: he has every possibility of getting an excellent start to the championship. Noah Milellwill be with him on the track, whose familiarity with the OTK Kart Groupequipment will further increase the team’s chances of success.

In KZ2, we will once again be kicking off with Alessio Piccini, ready to fight for the top grid positions. At his side there will be the Belgian Gilles Stadsbader, in his first appearance both for the Tony Kart Racing Team and in the KZ2 class, but fully ready for his debut after the excellent results obtained in the test sessions.

On the occasion of the FIA Karting European Championship KZ and KZ2, the web ufficiale will provide the full live-timing of all the sessions, including the practice session. From Saturday, the day on which the Qualifying Heats will begin, diretta streaming will also start and will continue until the finals on Sunday.
