THE HIGHEST QUALITY

Tony Kart TDX MY '25

The latest evolution of the TDX is well-founded to the points which featured this model since the beginning, such as the frame structure, made up of Ø 32 mm chrome molybdenum tubes and the availability of three distinct and specific versions: direct drive, shifter and DD2. There are, however, several new features introduced. Above all, the M11 fairing kit and the unprecedented braking systems, both born from the synergy between the OTK Kart Group R&D department and the Tony Kart Racing Team.

Nonstop evolution

WINNING FORMULA

The new TDX, like the previous version, also owns all the features introduced with Tony Kart's flagship model, the Racer 401 (now in its latest version named “T”), from which it only differs in the diameter of the tubes employed to manufacture the frame, which, in the case of the TDX, is 32 mm. As for the other innovations introduced, however, there are no differences between the two models: both, in fact, mount the new M11 fairings, the new BWD (for the single-gear classes) and BWZ (for the Shifter categories) braking systems, as well as other technical details such as the new aluminium chain tensioner, attached to the bearing support. The novelties also involve the aesthetic aspect, renewed thanks to the design of the new stickers applied to the fairings.

M11 Fairing Kit

WIND-SHAPED

Aerodynamics plays an increasingly important role in karting as well: for this very reason, OTK Kart Group's R&D department has paid special attention to the development of this aspect, finding innovative solutions through testing by means of CFD computer simulations, in the wind tunnel and, of course, on the track with the Tony Kart Racing Team. The new M11 kit, which complies with current FIA regulations, includes a new front spoiler and a new front fairing design, combined with the side bumpers and rear protection that were part of the M10 kit introduced with the previous homologation. The kit is then completed by the new set of stickers, true to the colors of the Prevalle brand, but with a new design that gives the chassis a more attractive look.

BWD Braking System

NOVELTIES FOR THE DIRECT-DRIVE CATEGORIES

The BWD braking system, reserved to direct drive classes, represents one of the main novelties introduced with the new Tony Kart product range. The main features of this model are in the cylinder and the brake caliper, both of which are made using the highest quality materials, carefully selected by the OTK Kart Group R&D department, and with a structure able of improving the heat dissipation capacity of these elements thus allowing a consequent significant reduction in the brake oil temperature, so as to ensure a constant feeling over time for the driver when braking. The BWD braking system is available in two purchase options: with either the 180 mm or 206 mm diameter brake disc, depending on the needs.

BWZ Braking System

TOP OVERTAKINGS FOR THE SHIFTER

Based on the design that led to the birth of the BWD model for the direct-drive classes, the BWZ brake system is born, specifically for the shifter classes. The features are the same, with a cylinder and a rear brake caliper that follow the philosophy introduced with the direct drive version. In addition, the new brake distribution and front calipers, revised in both the forged and machined components, now feature an innovative design with newly shaped fins and thickness to further increase heat dissipation and structural rigidity. In the BWZ version, too, the rear disc is available with two options: 180 mm or 206 mm diameter.

Pedals and Steering Wheel

FOR AN IDEAL DRIVING POSITION

Lots of new features, of course, but also several confirmations, as far as the new TDX is concerned. Above all, the much-appreciated multi-adjustable pedals from OTK Kart Parts, which, combined with the inclined steering wheel hub, unchanged from the previous homologation, guarantee an optimal driving position, as well as quick and easy adjustment. To complete the optimal driving position for drivers of all sizes is the confirmed HGS steering wheel, featuring the high handgrip offering a significant reduction in driving effort, as a result of the testing work done by the official drivers of the Tony Kart Racing Team.

DD2 Version

DETAILS THAT COUNT

Like the Racer 401 T, the TDX model year 2025, in its DD2 version, offers all the new features introduced with the shifter model: the innovative M11 fairings, the new BWZ braking system with 180 mm or 206 mm diameter discs, and new graphics. On the other hand, what is specific to the frame reserved for the DD2 category is the fixing for the removable muffler mount, specifically designed for this category engines.
